Wingsurfing & windsurfing demo day success!

Wingsurfing and windsurfing demos are still needed. Mostly so riders can experience the equipment. But also brands (Challenger Sails UK included) can raise their awareness.

Hayling Island Sailing Club has a solid membership. For what is (on paper at least) a small dot on a map the club’s catchment is far and wide. Plus, the number of wing foilers and windsurfers is significant.

Young gun, and Challenger Sails UK rider Tom Pringuer, had his dad Mike contact us to arrange an on forecast demo day at HISC recently. And it’s safe to say it was a resounding success.

With blue skies, warmth and a solid 20 knot breeze blowing the sandy shores of HISC were awash with wings and sails of all types. Setting up camp right next to the water’s edge meant anyone fancying a blast with the Challenger Sails Ikaroz wings or windsurfing sails could do so easily. Thanks to Sonnie and the HISC team for allowing us to do this!

Challenger Sails UK’s Andy was on hand to dish the details about the gear. And also get some time riding himself. Throughout the day there were plenty of sailors getting involved and it was a great day.
